PixelScrapper November Blog Train – Thankful Harvest

It’s the first of a new month, and that means it’s time for a brand new PixelScrapper blog train! This month’s palette is all foggy fall morning–purples, mauves, and golden-tinged neutrals. (Image, as always, is linked to the final list at PixelScrapper–be sure to head back there at the end of this post to pick up the rest of the parts!)

While this palette is pretty enough for the season, I found it a little challenging due to the lack of a green. Nevertheless, I had hoped to add some traditional Thanksgiving elements as well as more natural elements, but then the health issues I spent almost all month dealing with made it nearly impossible to draw. Thankfully, I can still make papers and word art, and I took the opportunity to learn some basics in Illustrator because at least when the bone spur jabbing a nerve makes my hands jerk while drawing a line, I can swap tools and move the points to smooth it out. 🙂 Also, Illustrator’s awesome for adding fancy swashes to word art, which I did a fair bit of this month.

So here’s what I’ve got for you this time:

Now that you’ve (hopefully) downloaded my part, head on back to the main blog train thread at PixelScrapper and visit everyone else’s blog to get their portions! We’ve had quite a few parts that I’m really looking forward to picking up for myself.
