PixelScrapper November Blog Train – “Enchanted Autumn”

It’s the first of the month again, and that means another PixelScrapper blog train is coming out. I kind of struggled with the theme a bit, since I didn’t really want to do a kit that was all about leaves, but couldn’t find a fairy tale I was confident in being able to draw/paint well enough within the palette, either. In the end, I skipped the tale and focused on some fairy houses to tuck into the layouts you make with the rest of the train–but I’ve left them large enough to use as major page elements, should you wish to do so.

The palette is a semi-traditional autumn red/orange/brown/gold/olive, but that teal is an unusual shade for this season! (Image is linked to the main thread at PixelScrapper, as usual.)

Here’s what I’ve got for you. As I said, the elements have been left large enough to use as a matte if you want to; most of the fairy houses are 1600-1700px on the longer side, which gives you lots of flexibility with them. The word art is shown actual size, and I’ve included both the Queen’s English and American English spellings, so you can choose your favo(u)rite.

Download it HERE.

Once you’ve picked up my portion, hop back over to the main thread at PixelScrapper to grab the other designers’ portions of this gorgeous train!

Have a wonderful Halloween, get lots of treats, and don’t forget to scrap your costumes! Or, if you’re spending Samhain remembering and honoring those who’ve gone before, have a blessed night, enjoy the need-fires and the feast of the ancestors, and greet the new ritual year with hope and joy! My plans involve a bottle of hard cider, a nice meal, and an evening of online gaming with friends–plus a sampling of whatever candy doesn’t get given out! 🙂

Such a charming fairy village. Our lawn has a fairy ring that I have never scrapped. This is the perfect kit to cast a magic spell! Thanks so much.

How cute are these! I think my favourite house is the mushroom/toadstool with the spiral staircase! I always love your work, Holly, but these little fairy houses are GORGEOUS! Thank you!

    Bonjour Holly !
    Thank you very much

      Hi Dani,
I’ve downloaded the file I linked in this post and it seems to unzip just fine for me. Since I only included 4 papers and a few elements, they’re all included in the one download.

    hello Holly,
Merry Christmas and Happy new year
